The Development Trends and Research Hotspots of Network Ideological and Political Education in China

To explore the development trends and research hotspots of network ideological and political education in China, 664 related articles form the China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CKNI) were analyzed by the CiteSpace. The results show that: (1) the research of network ideological and political education started as early as 2002 and then showed a rising trend year by year. Shuxiang Hu, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and The Party Building and Ideological Education in Schools topped the lists of contributing authors, organizations and publications respectively. (2) the topics of "network ideological and political education in universities", "ideological and political education", "effectiveness", "innovation", and "network discourse power" were the research hotspots in the field. (3) the construction of discourse right in network of ideological and political education was the typical recent research frontiers in the field.
