Could electromagnetic signal modulation affect biological reaction of S. Cerevisiae?

The presented paper deals with application of low frequency electromagnetic signal modulation as a possible tool for enhancement of biological reaction of Saccharomyces cerevisiae cultures. The idea originates from the ion parametric resonance theory, which presumes that low frequency electromagnetic fields are capable of altering biological response at the cellular level, targeting specific ions in the vicinity of cell membranes. Experimental findings are discussed within the scope of this theory and compared with previous research results, conducted by authors, to verify the possibility of the biological effect enhancement by targeting various ions using just one modulated signal for biological samples irradiation.
