Equalization of soliton transmission based on nonlinear Fourier transform using neural networks

We show the equalization of nonlinear Fourier transformation coefficients using neural networks. Correlations between noise-induced distortions of eigenvalues and their coefficients can be used to reduce the impact of distributed noise on b-modulated solitons. Reach extensions of around 3,000 km were observable in simulations.
