Study on High Temperature Tensile Mechanical Properties of Tungsten Alloy Based on ANSYS

Due to the difficulty in preparation of tungsten alloy specimens and high temperature tensile tests, the tensile mechanical properties of tungsten alloys at different temperatures were simulated by ANSYS software. The variation of tensile strength and fracture strength of the specimen was obtained and compared with the experimental conclusion. The error was found to be within 4%. The fracture of the specimen at different temperatures was analyzed, and the maximum value of the reduction of the section appeared at 400 °C. The tensile process of tungsten alloy at 900 °C was simulated. The results show that the tensile strength and fracture strength continue to decrease with increasing temperature, which is consistent with the experimental trend. The validity and accuracy of the high temperature tensile finite element analysis method for tungsten alloys are proved.
