Fluorometric Immunochromatographic Assay for Determination of Olaquindox Using Quantum Dot Nanobeads

This paper described a reliable and simple method for the determination of OLA in animal samples using the quantum dot nanobead based Immunochromatographic assay (QB-ICA). The QBs were conjugated with monoclonal antibodies as fluorescent labeled probes reacted specifically with OLA. The QB-ICA exhibits good dynamic linear detection for OLA the range of 0.15 to 2.78 μg/L, with a 50% inhibitory concentration (IC

) of was 0.65 μg/L. The recoveries of OLA in real animal samples were between 84.32% and 106.32%, and the corresponding coefficient of variation (CV) is less than 12% for both intra- and inter-assays. The reliability and accuracy of the QB-ICA were confirmed by commercial ELISA kit and LC- MS/MS. Therefore, the QB-ICA method, with good accuracy and sensitivity, can be applied to the rapid screening of OLA in real samples.
