Implantable Fluorescent CMOS Imaging Device

In this paper, we discuss implantable fluorescent CMOS imaging devices and their fabrication techniques. The devices are specially designed and fabricated such that they are small and light weight, with low invasiveness. In addition, an excitation light source and filters for highly sensitive fluorescence imaging were developed. The fabricated device does not employ a lens. In addition, its spatial resolution decreases with distance. To solve this problem, a light field imaging pixel array for refocusing was developed.
