Reweighted Zero Attracting Maximum Correntropy Criterion Algorithm based Solar Grid Interfaced System for Alleviating Power Quality Problems

This paper deals with a reweighted zero attracting maximum correntropy criterion algorithm (RZAMCC). It is implemented for three phase solar-grid interfaced system with single stage topology. The control approach helps in generating reference grid currents by extracting fundamental component from distorted load currents. This algorithm shows good performance under both steady-state and transient condition. The reweighted term helps in fast convergence, less mean square error and reduction in harmonic content of grid currents. Solar photovoltaic array feeds peak power using INC (Incremental Conductance) technique. The system with this control is simulated in MATLAB/Simulink. Test results of the system are obtained under steady state as well as dynamic conditions like unbalance in load and change of solar insolation level and those are found satisfactory. The harmonic distortions of grid currents and voltages are observed according to the standard of the IEEE519.
