Determination of the Parameters of the Electromagnetic System of the Installation for Oil Treatment

This paper dwells upon algorithmizing the calculation of electromagnetic system parameters in oil treatment units. This separator for polydisperse fluid systems has been designed by the Department of Electrical Engineering and Machinery of FSBU Kuban State Technological University; what differentiates it from the common designs is that the separator drum also functions as its effector where the oil is separated and the rotor of the asynchronous motor is hosted. There is no theory behind such converters. The proposed algorithm uses calculations applicable to an equivalent electric machine of corresponding power to find the structural parameters of an axial stator (material and size of the magnetic core, slot size, and winding type) as well as to calculate the parameters of the electromagnetic system (stator/rotor resistance and inductance) of the oil separation unit.
