Using Visualization in the Educational Process in the Direction of Environmental Protection

The article discusses various aspects of using visualization in training specialists in the field of environmental protection. The features of environmental data that make it difficult to analyze them without visualization are shown. Examples of using environmental information visualization in the educational process and in practice are given. Options for choosing the optimal graphical way to represent environmental data are given, depending on the tasks set. The current possibilities of using geoinformation systems in environmental education are considered. The prospects of joint application of geoinformation systems and common communication tools for creating local and global systems for on-line monitoring of environmental parameters are shown.
