Use Arduino and Micro:bit as Teaching Platform for the Education Programming and Electronics on the STEM Basis

The paper illustrates use of Arduino and Micro:bit in the education of the electronics and programming. The two-parts (Arduino and Micro:bit) electronic textbook is presented. The book follows the principles of modern teaching method STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). This book is being tested in some schools and there is already the first feedback available. Both platforms are compared in this paper and there is given the recommendation for choosing the most effective platform.
