The Advantages of Using Computer Algebra System Maple in Learning Differential Equation

The paper dwells upon the original experience of using computer algebra system (CAS) Maple when engineering students learn differential equations. The authors give some examples of tasks. The students use computing and graphical capabilities (power) of CAS Maple to solve them. The scholars give a description of the findings of the experiment, which confirmed the effective use of CAS Maple when studying differential equations. The students in the experimental group improved academically by 10%. In addition, completion rate of research-level tasks in the final test turned out to be greater than twice in the experimental group.
