Analyze the Aging Degree of Optical Cable in Accordance with the Change Degree of the Received Optical Power

This paper designs an automatic monitoring technology for the aging of optical cables, and introduces and compares the traditional methods for the aging of optical cables and the automatic monitoring technology for the aging of optical cables. The automatic monitoring technology has the functions of early warning of the aging of optical cables, positioning of specific aging optical cables and analysis of the deterioration trend of optical cables. This system determines the aging degree of optical cable by comparing and analyzing the monitoring data. It can not only discover the aging section of optical cable in time, but also discover the aging section of optical cable in advance, eliminate the hidden trouble caused by the aging of optical cable, and improve the reliability of optical fiber communication system.
