Modified Mersenne Twister based on Chaotic logistic Mapping Strategy

In this paper, a modified Mersenne Twister (MT) based on the chaotic logistic mapping strategy (MMTG) was proposed to produce the pseudo-random numbers (PRNs) for avoiding the Mersenne Twister producing the almost same PRNs with the same seed. NIST SP 800-22 was adopted to investigate the randomness of MMTG. We executed the MMTG 5 times with the same initial seed, and obtained 5 groups of PRNs. Compared with the test results of MT, the MMTG has higher P_value for almost all subjects. And for random excursions vary test, the conclusions of the MMTG are all random, which is better than the MT's. For every group NIST test, there are at least 3 P_values more than 0.9, and the most one is up to 6. While, the MT only has 2. Especially, the P_values of "Non-overlapping Template_MAX" are more than 0.99 except for one. The effectiveness of the MMTG was proved for all results.
