Research on Evolutionary Game of Information Transfer Based on Supply-Hub in Supply Chain. Part I: Manufacturer and Supplier Perspective

The introduction of the Supply-Hub supply chain operation model has greatly eased the "bull-whip effect" in the supply chain. However, due to the weak willingness of Supply-Hub supply chain enterprises to share information, " free-riding " and "self-interest", as well as information asymmetry, information sharing still has great problems. Based on the Supply-Hub operation mechanism, this work first establishes a game model for information transfer and evolution between manufacturers and suppliers in the supply chain, and analyzes the impact of parameter changes in the model on the choice of manufacturers and suppliers. Then use MATLAB software to analyze the strategy selection scheme and evolution trend of the manufacturer-supplier information transfer in the Supply-Hub supply chain under different revenue environments. The results show that the supply chain system is evolutionarily stable when manufacturers and suppliers adopt the same information strategies, and according to the influence of each parameter on the evolution results, a series of adjustment strategies are proposed.
