Simulation analysis of marine diesel engine SCR system

The selective catalytic reduction (SCR) method is an effective method for ship exhaust treatment, which has become a research hotspot in recent years. The CAD 3D model of the 4135Ca diesel engine SCR catalyst system is established in this paper. Based on the mathematical model, the injection process of urea aqueous solution and the mixing process of droplets and exhaust are simulated, and the distribution of velocity field, pressure field and exhaust temperature inside the catalyst is also analyzed. Then the ESC emission experiments of the diesel engine are carried out. The experimental results are in good agreement with the simulation results, which verified the correctness of the model used in the numerical simulation.
