Investigation of the synergistic effect of CF3I/CF4 gas mixture

In this paper, the synergistic effect of CF
3
I/CF
4
gas mixture is calculated and experimentally studied. The results show that the critical field strength of CF
3
I/CF
4
mixed gas calculated by Boltzmann equation increases linearly with the content of CF
3
I. However, under the action of power frequency voltage and lightning impulse, the mixed gas of CF
3
I/CF
4
actually shows significant negative synergistic effect when the gas pressure is 0.1∼0.3 MPa. The synergistic effect coefficient value of CF
3
I mixture shows a decreasing trend with the increase of pressure, and when the negative synergistic effect is most significant, the corresponding CF
3
I content also shows a decreasing trend.
