Viscose Ferrofluid in Low Speed Magnetic Gears

In this paper is proposed a magnetic gear design with viscose ferrofluid between rotors. It is supposed to operate in low rotational speeds where the dynamic viscose friction is very low. Results about power and torque transmission are obtained by finite element method modeling. Effects of the viscose ferrofluid over the magnetic gear efficiency are estimated.
