Contribution of new electrical materials to the design of large induction motors

The aim of this paper is to present the possibilities for reducing the size of large induction motors with new electrical materials taken into account the thermal constraints. This digest highlight to possibilities for reducing losses, increasing the efficiency and decreasing the weight, taking different grade of materials.
