Development and Dynamic Analysis of Analogous Active Suspension System with Adjustable Spring K Value and Damping C Value

This study proposes an analogous active suspension system consisting of an air spring with adjustable spring coefficient K and a hydraulic damper with adjustable damping coefficient C. This system changes the spring coefficient K of the suspension system by adjusting the internal pressure of the air spring. It also changes the displacement and changes the chassis height of the vehicle. In the damping part, the internal diaphragm of the hydraulic damper is rotated by the motor to adjust the damping coefficient of the suspension system damper, so as to achieve the purpose of damping and stabilizing the vehicle body. In this study, the relationship between the force and displacement was measured by simulating a quarter of the actual vehicle's weight on the air spring of the suspension system with the payload spring pressurized, and the characteristics of the air spring were learned. In addition, the dynamic simulation of the analogous active suspension system is performed by inputting the pavement function characteristics to understand the dynamic response of the suspension system to the vehicle, and then the air spring and the hydraulic damper are adjusted to achieve the most appropriate riding condition.
