Design of Distributed Storage Multi-core System Based on NoC Architecture

The distributed storage multi-core system is designed and implemented based on the NoC (network-on-chip Network) architecture. Compared with the traditional bus-based interconnection architecture, it aims to solve the problem which data processing becomes the bottleneck of the whole system. The system also adopts adaptive routing algorithm, which can flexibly set the priority of data communication according to different applications, and improves the overall data throughput of the system. Finally, by applying this system to the experiment of decoding h. 264 video, it can be verified that the distributed multi-core storage system with NoC architecture can achieve a great improvement in performance.
