A Novel Correction Algorithm for Distorted QR-code Image

In this paper, A correction algorithm is proposed for QR-code that cannot be scanned by common tools. First, we use the concept of contour tree to filter the contours and cluster them to extract the required positioning markers. Secondly, the three methods of slope comparison, coordinate comparison and angle rotation are using to determine the correction point. Finally, the image is corrected using an affine transformation. The experimental results show that the QR-code corrected by the algorithm proposed in this paper can be scanned by common tools, which shows that the proposed algorithm has certain useful value.
