Design of GPS Receiver Low Noise Amplifier Based on PHEMT

In order to realize the high sensitivity of the GPS receiving system, this paper implemented the design and simulation of GPS receiver low noise amplifier based on Advanced Design System (ADS) by using Agilent's low noise amplifier chip ATF54143. The transistor is Pseudomorphic HEMT. The matching circuit of the design adopts lumped parameter network matching and stability optimization design adopts adding negative feedback circuit. The results show NF <; 2 dB, signal gain > 16 dB, input standing wave ratio <; 2, output standing wave ratio <; 1.5 in the 1.47 GHz to 1.65 GHz frequency range by experimental simulation.
