An Approximate Method for Construction of Polar Codes With Kernels Over F2t

An approximate method for evaluation of the reliability of the symbol subchannels induced by a polarizing transformation with non-binary kernels is proposed. We show that if polar codes are combined with the channel adapter, the capacities of the subchannels can be estimated recursively.
