Analysis on key technical characteristics of chongqing-hubei back-to-back grid-connected project

This paper introduced the general construction situation of VSC-HVDC projects in China and summarized the technical features of these projects. Taking the Chongqing-Hubei back-to-back grid-connected project as an example, the key technical characteristics in its engineering design and control and protection function are explained. The functions and principles of these key technical features are analyzed, as well as the differences with other projects. The purpose of this paper is to take the chongqing-hubei project as an example to analyze the key technologies of the VSC-HVDC system, so as to provide some references for understanding the VSC-HVDC project.
