Optimization Clustering Algorithm Based on Multi-factor Improved SEP in WSN

Stable Election Protocol(SEP) algorithm is often used to divide the sensors into clusters in Wireless Sensor Network(WSN).This paper proposes an improved SEP protocol that can divide cluster by comprehensively considering the influence of remaining energy, signal strength, and distribution density on WSN energy consumption. It can be proved by the exprimental results that the method can effectively save the power and extend the usage time of WSNs.
