Improve Learning Performance by Adapting Non-Monetary Rewards on Mobile Learning

Many companies and factories in Thailand have "Mobile learning" as a training tool for fostering their employee performance. In Chiang Mai, over 200 workers in food factories participated and completed the online curriculum via their mobile device. Even the number of participants who accessed video in mobile learning is considered high, the number of participants who pass the final exam in the online curriculum is low. The statistic has shown that the participants lack the motivation to complete the exercise in mobile learning which leads to a low completion rate. Recently, many types of non-monetary rewards "Tangible non-monetary Rewards", "Social non-monetary rewards", "Job-related non-monetary rewards" were added to mobile learning which aimed to motivate the employees to increase score in online exercise. However, not all types of non-monetary rewards provide a positive impact on employee's motivation. Therefore, this research aims to present the results of 3 different non-monetary of different groups to complete the exercise in mobile learning.
