Multichannel Positron-Positronium Trapping Models for Nanovoids Characterization of Functional Materials

Multichannel positron and positronium trapping models were proposed to interpretation of free volume changes sin nanostructured materials for electronics. Proposed models were applied to study of nanovoids in chalcogenide glasses for optical sensors and spinel ceramics for humidity sensors. It is shown that two-state positron trapping model at two-component fitting procedure can be used to investigation of free volumes in compact matrix such as glasses. Multichannel positron-positronium trapping model can be applied to study of free-volume defects in materials with advanced nanoporous structure such as humidity-sensitive ceramics.
