The Reliability Model of Fault-Tolerant System with the Majority Structure and Considering the Change in the Failure Rate of the Core Module During Operation

The method of increasing the degree of adequacy of the model of reliability behavior of fault-tolerant system with a majority structure is shown. The method is based on the hypothesis that the first failure of the module in the core of the majority structure "informs" about close of exhaustion of the resource in other modules of the core. Therefore, to assume that after replacing a failing module with a redundancy module, the other core modules have an initial resource of efficiency is incorrect. Using the proposed method, a reliability model of a fault-tolerant system {2 of 3} was developed, with sliding redundancy of core module and considering the dependence of their failure rate on the duration of operation. Conducted comparative researches showed a substantial difference between values of reliability indexes determined without and with consideration of expired operational resource of core modules after replacement of the faulty module by a redundant one.
