Abstract:
Last summer, in between sessions ranging from "Aerospace Applications" to "Autonomous Systems" and "Neural Networks" at the European Control Conference in Naples, Italy, a group of women (and men) convened for a luncheon to network, share stories, and provide different perspectives on the current state of women in engineering, science, and industry. Held on the final day of the conference, 28 June, the Women in Control (WIC) luncheon was "concrete evidence of fruitful national and international networking between women in control and women in science," said Chair Dr. Laura Celentano.
