A new design for Stirling engine with the high performance for using in urban solar CHP

The Stirling engine Due to its structure has the potential for use in CHP systems. On the other hand, due to its external combustion chamber, the engine can use renewable energy sources such as solar and geothermal energy and etc. as the source of energy. But hitherto, due to the low efficiency of these engines, they were not economical to use. In this article, first tried to review the type of structure of the Stirling engines, then a variety of numerical modeling, the weaknesses, and advantages of the previous engines are argued, and finally introduce a new structure that called by this article the Delta type. The numerical modeling of this motor was done by MATLAB software. The results indicate that the electrical efficiency and total electrical and thermal efficiency of the engine are 49% and 95%, respectively, as compared to the previous types of Stirling engines 20% increased, and hopefully, in practice, will have better efficiency than previous ones.
