Error Analysis and Compensation for Satellite Sun Sensor of Satellite

The sun sensor is an optical attitude sensor, which is used to measure satellite attitude. Through sensing the azimuth of sun vector and confirming the azimuth of sun vector in the object coordinate, a satellite can get the information of the sun azimuth. This paper is as an example of slit-type digital sun sensors. A measurement residual model of sun sensor is built, which is used in the high precision attitude determine system. The error source of sun sensor is analyzed. An error compensation method is proposed. In the view of the stars of sun sensors, a method of anti-interference is proposed. After the emulation process, it is proved that the model and method can effectively eliminate the error.
