Ag flakes based stretchable composite tracks with high conductivity by adding AgNWs

Wearable devices are rapidly expanding their market to almost everywhere of our daily life. Stretchable tracks with high conductivity and good recoverability are the key factors for wearable devices. Stretchable tracks composed of polydimethylsiloxane and Ag flakes showed potential applications. Silver nanowires are added into the flake based stretchable tracks to improve the performance of the tracks. The resistivity is improved from 8.7 × 10

Ω·cm with 10% of AgNWs addition. Besides, the recoverability is also improved. The tracks can also be fabricated with roll-to-roll processing under low temperature, which can meet the requirements for mass production of more and more popular wearable electronic devices.
