Determination of ZIP Load Model Parameters based on Synchrophasor Data by Genetic Algorithm

ZIP parameters in load modeling have a significant effect on the power system operation. High accuracy and sampling rate of the measurement, phasor measurement units (PMUs) have suitable to determine the load modeling. This paper presents the estimation of ZIP parameters by using PMUs data assisted by the genetic algorithm. Three load types are applied by the proposed method to obtain ZIP coefficients. The minimizing sum of square between PMUs data and the model is determining for the results. Output results are obtained from the simulation studies via DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
