Research on Orderly Electricity Consumption Management Strategy for Campus Dormitory

Electricity in student dormitory is an important part of campus electricity. The particularity of the campus student dormitory and the use of high-power equipment make the student dormitory consume a large amount of electricity, but electricity consumption is not efficient. The power supply of high-power equipment such as water boiler and air conditioners in the current student dormitory is continuous, but the travel of the people in the student dormitory is regular. From this perspective, It is significant and feasible to put forward a kind of orderly electricity management strategy for campus student dormitory based on the study of the travel laws of the staff in the dormitory. In this paper, the concept of "social energy" is first introduced to propose an orderly power scheme for student residences by controlling the state of the water boilers. Then based on the proposed orderly electricity technical route, the case study of the typical student dormitory building of Beijing Jiaotong University(BJTU) is provided and studied to show the preliminary design and feasibility of the orderly electricity technical route. Finally, in the concluding remarks, the paper summarizes the full-text technical route and the prospect of an orderly electricity plan that incorporates the concept of "social energy".
