Optimal Scheduling of Electric and Heat Integrated Energy System with Operational Constraints

The regional integrated energy system is one of the effective ways to give full play to the complementary characteristics of various types of energy and to achieve energy step utilization. Considering the operational constraints of electric and thermal subsystems, a new hybrid energy station (HES) model is proposed. Firstly, the electric and thermal subsystems are modeled and solved, and the energy flow coupling structure of the new hybrid energy system is analyzed, and forming an electric and heat integrated energy system (EHIES) solution model; With the goal of minimum daily operating costs of HES, new and reasonable operational constraints of EHIES are set, and applying particle swarm optimization to optimize the EHIES energy flow to provide an optimal energy supply solution. It is verified by examples that through the coupling and transformation of energy, the comprehensive utilization of energy is improved, the operating cost of HES is reduced, and the electrical and heat subsystems all meet operational constraints.
