Research on electric taxi charging forecasting and optimization on its shift mode

With the large-scale application of electric taxi, the effective charging forecasting method and reasonable shift pattern are needed to avoid the concentrated charging problem. In this paper, after analyzing the characteristics of electric taxis’ operating behavior and main factors on charging behavior, we formulate a charging behavior prediction method on electric taxis, which is based on the study on the operation process and the influences charging behavior. By comparing the simulation results of Mote Carlo method with actual charging data, this method we proposed is proved to have high prediction accuracy. It is discussed that shift mode is the main influencing factor by analyzing the current charging characteristics. Then charging characteristics under different shift modes are studied to indicate that increasing the times of shift and reducing the state of charge at the time of shift can effectively relieve concentrated charging phenomenon.
