Behavior and Characteristic Changes of Generation Z Engineering Students

Gen Z (2000 - 2019*) started growing up with a digital footprint, even before they can leave the womb. From innovation to teaching pedagogy there is a paradigm shift exclusively for gen Z. Students in engineering are unique than ever before, there is a big spotlight on them to tackle various social, global challenges and move towards sustainability. This paper examines the behavioral changes made by and made for Gen Z students, influence of technology, revised curriculum to meet the trend of the modern world and their social contribution by a comparative study between generation Z and Y (1990 - 1999).
