Indexing and Classifying Breathing Pattern for Male Runners Using Support Vector Machine

Breathing is essential in everyday life of all living things. Many studies have been done that monitors a subject's respiratory status and activity. However, these studies do not refer to the breathing pattern of runners, as most of the studies focus on stationary subject. This paper aims to design a wearable device that will record the breathing activity of a runner before and after running, which will be analyzed later for indexing and classification.
