Pox Controller based Qos Evaluation for 5G Systems-Network Slicing

As science and technology expands, networking has become a crucial topic in the development of 5G networks. This paper brings out the emerging SDN features which incorporates an advanced flow control and architecture. With the layout of SDN features, the QoS metrics can be evaluated for 5G networks. The open-source pox controller works by assigning network slices to various user-centric profiles on different topologies. The key objective of this work is to control the bandwidth which guarantees reliability in the sliced 5G network. It has also shown a considerable loss rate by 7% in a congested network. The delay less than 500ms is also achieved with different services and applications like VoIP and video streaming applications with 3 Mbps as bit rate.
