Implementation of a Simplified Wireless Area Network

Wireless sensor networks (WSN) systems face many delivery and reliability problems. In this paper we implement a relaying and routing scheme in order to solve these problems. The maximum coverage area for a single node is tested, and to extend the coverage are an additional node is added. A five node WSN system has been implement to assure frame delivery in the event of node failures. The results show that the maximum coverage area for a single node is 33m, for larger distances extra nodes need to be added. Results also showed that a reliably delivery can be achieved by implementing multiple path between the source and destination.
