Condition Monitoring with ANN for Maximizing the Productivity of Electric Drive in Varying Environmental Conditions

This paper proposes a method of controlling an electric drive according to the temperature criterion, which allows using the resource of the electric motor in a more efficient way and eliminating the overheating of the stator windings and the defects caused by it. A general scheme of the implementation of this method is presented. The necessity of using an artificial neural network in the proposed control structure is explained. The paper presents recommendations and a preliminary data collection plan for the formation of a training sample. Theoretical findings are based on the experimental data.
