Personnel Evacuation Computer Simulation for Scientific Research Building Under Emergency Condition

This paper presents personnel evacuation computer simulation for scientific research building under emergency condition. This computer simulation gives out the whole evacuation process and provide the total evacuation time, usage of each exit and person density in the building. A simulation is carried out for the case that the meeting is held in this building for different evacuation scheme. Simulation results show that evacuation time will be reduced with implementing proper guidance and utilizing all exits nearby under emergency. By combing the simulation results and simple numerical model, an optimized personnel evacuation scheme is provided and it reduces the total evacuation time and enhances escape efficiency.
