Method for Forming Mathematical Models of Measured Electrophysiological Signals

The article is devoted to the urgent topic of the mathematical models formation that describe test sequences of electrophysiological signals. The materials of the article discuss the main features of biosignals, which include: the complexity of the measurement object; a large variation in the measured parameters due to gender, age and other differences; lack of reference values of the "norm"; specific measurement ranges; large noise interference and others. It was especially noted that the interpretation of data obtained from a biological object should not be difficult for a specialist. The information obtained should be clear to the engineers, doctors, researchers, as well as undergraduate and graduate students involved in biomedical engineering. The materials of the article also contains an analysis of the most informative electrophysiological signals. It is indicated that the most prognostically significant are the electrocardiogram and the signals of the myogram and encephalogram, revealed their measured parameters. An example of a method for generating models of electrophysiological signals test sequences using a mathematical representation of a real electrocardiogram fragment by standard functions is presented. In practice, it turned out to be quite difficult to describe with a single mathematical function the complex shape of the electrocardiogram. This article presents a solution to this problem - segmentation electrocardiosignal into several sections without isolation of individual prong. Recommendations are given for creating a means of reproducing created models - a simulator of electrophysiological signals. It is indicated in which main areas the results of the study can be put into practice.
