Construction of Design Evaluation System Base on Fuzzy Theory

Product design evaluation is the main measure of design scheme optimization. Aesthetics is the emphasis of product design scheme optimization. As aesthetics features subjectivity and fuzziness, different appraisers have different aesthetic evaluation on design works. Due to such subjective mode, the design evaluation activities is in lack of subjectivity and it is not favorable for students to finish design speculation and design scheme optimization. The research is carried out by taking students' interface design coursework for example to judge the degree of influence of aesthetic factors on interface design through fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method and help appraisers compare the interface aesthetics design schemes objectively. Firstly, the expert's comprehensive evaluation is implemented by summarizing aesthetic factors hierarchically through investigation and collection of literature in the research, and importance ranking of different aesthetic factors in interface design is performed by contrast of the the aesthetic influence of the last hierarchy. Then, the precedence relationship matrix is built and converted into the fuzzy consistent judgment matrix. Lastly, the single sorting weight of each hierarchy and overall hierarchical sorting weight is calculated to conclude the aesthetic sorting of each interface design works. According to the research result, it could be found that different aesthetic factors have different degrees of influence on interface aesthetics and objective & rational scheme merit sorting is concluded.
