Virtual Machine Incremental Backup Method for Bitmap Characteristics

Based on the QEMU underlying kernel state environment, this paper proposed a secure and efficient incremental backup method for virtual machines, which was oriented to the format of Qcow2 image files and had the characteristics of bitmap. Aiming at the disaster recovery backup problem of KVM virtual machine, this method supported users to make full and incremental remote and local backup according to backup strategy. Experiments showed that this method could efficiently generate backup files and save storage disk space.
