Numerical Computation Method for Human Exposure to Non-uniform Magnetic Field

Low-frequency dosimetry is commonly assessed by evaluating the electric field in the human body using the scalar potential finite difference method. In this paper, incomplete LU factorization preconditioned biconjugate gradients stabilized method is used to solve electric scalar potential finite-difference equations. Induced E-field by this in-house numerical solver is validated using two other numerical tools. The developed solver is able to run with a personal computer and a satisfactory efficiency is attained.
