The Portable DC De-icer with Emergency Power Supply Function

The distribution network has many branch lines, and usually pass through micro-topography and micro-meteorology areas. In winter, it is easy to collapse the tower and break the line due to over-icing, which affects the reliability of power supply. The large-capacity DC de-icer of the 220kV and above main network is limited by road transportation and power acquisition, which is difficult to effectively cope with ice disaster of distribution network. Manual de-icing is the main anti-ice method for distribution network, with low efficiency and high risk. This paper develops a portable DC de-icer with emergency power supply function for distribution network, and the key parameters of the device are designed and simulation model is established. The simulation results are consistent with the actual output. The device is small and light. And it can realize the rapid ice-melting of distribution network lines within 400m, significantly improving the anti-ice level capability level and ensuring the reliability of power supply. The device also has the function of 3kW power frequency emergency power supply, which solves the problem of low utilization rate and has broad application prospects.
