Load characteristics and impacts of different electric heating equipment integrated into power grid

To solve the serious haze problem, the coal-to-electricity project is implemented and has become a national strategy in China. The characteristics and application scopes of different types of electric heating modes are analyzed in this paper. Then, the load characteristics of different types of electric heating modes are shown based on actual operation data, and influences and impacts of coal-to-electricity are introduced. Moreover, a power prediction model is introduced and typical characteristics of the power prediction are extracted, providing a useful reference for the power network planning considering coal-to-electricity.
