The Rapid Anistropic Diffusion Model Based on Mi-shaped and Hyperbolic Tangent Function

In this paper, an image denoising processing model based on anisotropic diffusion is proposed. Firstly, the direction of diffusion of mi-shaped type is put forward, and the anisotropic diffusion model is extended from the traditional 4 direction to the 8 direction, which enhances the details and edges of the image. Secondly, a diffusion coefficient function based on hyperbolic tangent function is constructed. The model is based on the relationship between image gradient and diffusion function, and has faster convergence speed. Therefore, the proposed method can effectively preserve edges, textures, thin lines, weak edges and details while preventing step effects. The experimental results show that the method of this paper has advantages in both denoising effect and denoising time.
