Form Factor Agnostic Platform Silicon to Software Scalable Validation and Debug Methodology

The sheer complexity of systems at various abstraction levels makes the design a tedious and time consuming process. Post that to ratify the design whether it is working as per the expected requirements makes validation and verification even more time consuming and expensive process. When it comes to platform level validation; there are various nuisances that are to be looked at and the list increases, starting from silicon continuing to all the way till software. And if at all there are bugs that manifest at platform level narrowing down onto the bug cause and fixing it post debugging is a big challenge. In this paper we try to introduce a methodology for validation and debug that could be put forth for across the systems blurring the lines of form factor and other dependencies like having new features tested completely & rapidly, and would shorten the life span of test plan creation and bug fixing which would result in lots of dollars being saved, and also providing a unification methodology for upcoming systems across the wide range of products ranging from IoTs till servers.
